  2. Khodexus on January 7, 2022 at 3:26 am

So, Tchia is basically just Windwaker with Super Mario Odyssey’s hat based possession mechanic thrown in?

When you said, "Weird West," I thought for a moment that it was going to be a Deadlands game. Oh well.

  8. 8wealthyone8 on January 7, 2022 at 3:32 am

  9. ReadyAimFire on January 7, 2022 at 3:32 am

    Forspoken and Warhammer for me.

  10. JDM12983 on January 7, 2022 at 3:38 am

Yeah, went to look up Forspoken the other day to see what it was about and immediately lost interest in even wanting to know what it was about when seeing the ridiculous $70 starter price for the BASE PC version.

Really tired of battle royale games, it’s so played out at this point thanks pubg and fortnite for creating one of the worst genres of all time

  13. Alphascrub on January 7, 2022 at 3:39 am

Gen Zero devs gonna be salty if Arc Raiders is successful lol.

  14. Pavlo Tverdokhlib on January 7, 2022 at 3:40 am

"Evil West" is being published by Focus Home, one of the top "AA games" publishers- and they tend to focus on shorter, more linear games- Plague Tale, GreedFall, Vampyr to name a few. Good bet Evil West is gonna be a shorter game, but probably also priced accordingly, if precedent is any indication.

Space Marine 2 (which was the best reveal of the show) is under the same publisher, being made by Saber (the devs that made World War Z co-op zombie shooter recently)- so they *should* know how to make a good Tyranid horde for Titus to mow through. And those "bullets" in his head? those are chips indicating how many centuries he’s been in active service. 40K is hardcore.

Dune and Homeworld reveals were great. I hope Dune has sandworms randomly eating units to recreate that authentic Dune II: Battle of the Dynasties experience.

There was that Wonder Woman game teaser, which was cool. I know next to nothing about DC comic book heroes who aren’t Batman, but given how many hours I spent in the Middle-Earth games, and the fact that we’re getting a new game with the Nemesis system, I’m happy, if not quite excited yet.

Plague Tale: Requiem gameplay looked good. Not sure about Steelrising, but I want to believe that game will turn out good, because the concepts behind it are pretty amazing.

  15. Spearhead on January 7, 2022 at 3:40 am

ARC Raiders’s premise reminds me a lot of Generation Zero.

  16. ts25679 on January 7, 2022 at 3:41 am

I’m excited for a lot of these as well, particularly the long awaited Space Marine sequel, Nightingale, Arc and Forespoken. I am similarly frustrated that a lot of interesting new IP’s seem to go the exclusively multiplayer route, hopefully Arc and Nightingale play well enough as a solo experience. I like the characters design and the flashy fast paces magic and traversal in Forespoken, hopefully the narrative doesn’t wallow in the MC’s angst (judging from the game awards trailer) the whole time.

  17. The John Farnham Experience on January 7, 2022 at 3:41 am

While Nightingale looks like it’s gonna be a good game, I’m betting when it’s released it will be called something else because there is already a game called ‘Nightingale’… same spelling… and that game is already on steam and other platforms and was released last year (2021)… I don’t think the creators of this new game actually checked those details before they decided to name it…

2de ons is made with unreal engine what?

  19. Chropoles on January 7, 2022 at 3:44 am

I’m so Hyped for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2! didn’t think we would get a sequel! but YEAH! WooHooO!

  20. Crypto Jack on January 7, 2022 at 3:44 am

Nightingale looks dope.. Arc raider looks fine too. I guess the Warhammer games are only popular among the die hard fans. Ive played few before but dint quite like it

  21. za cd on January 7, 2022 at 3:46 am

Will each chaos faction have different corruption and will they be able to capture settlements rather than just razing them?

  22. Matthew Bleeker on January 7, 2022 at 3:48 am

    8 is stupid

  23. Francois van Heerden on January 7, 2022 at 3:51 am

Forespoken reminds me of PROTOTYPE. Now i miss that game. Thank you

  24. demonsouls 93 on January 7, 2022 at 3:51 am

nobody cares about the awards and they know this thats why they dont show the games all at once cuz if they did we would all leave after

  26. 0-Mr_ Holmes-0 on January 7, 2022 at 3:52 am

  28. Fake Namerton on January 7, 2022 at 3:55 am

The Nightingale and ARC trailers didn’t look like gameplay.

  29. OldSkool on January 7, 2022 at 3:56 am

I don’t let myself get hyped up about new games. Always end up disappointed when release. Games just have to many bugs and glitches nowadays. I always give games at least 6 months after release, then they might be playable

  30. Timmo on January 7, 2022 at 4:01 am

Nightingale looks so awesome im sure it will be great.

  31. Matthew Bleeker on January 7, 2022 at 4:03 am

  32. Reverend Zombie on January 7, 2022 at 4:04 am

You have Sonic on your list but call Evil West Cheesy?

  33. MrBreakdownBoy on January 7, 2022 at 4:04 am

Arc Raiders is obvious announcement graphics editing. No way that is end product gameplay.

  34. SamahLama on January 7, 2022 at 4:04 am

The game awards isn’t much of a celebration of gaming. It feels like it’s more of a celebration of megacorps

  35. Billy_Cross on January 7, 2022 at 4:05 am

Man dude many games claim that it’s a team game and they just don’t understand actual gamers

  36. Matthew Bleeker on January 7, 2022 at 4:05 am

"Lone wolves won’t make it very far"

Sounds like the type of challenge lone wolves have been looking for to me

  44. VaelicusThePaladin on January 7, 2022 at 4:14 am

And thats the issue it seems. So much competition that developers are pulling out games as fast as possible, there’s been serious research on whats called the ‘choice paradox’ or ‘choice overload’ the slightest discomfort will turn someone from a game and make them go on social media and call them trash. We’ve never had so many choices now all of them suck? There must be something else going on.

  45. cyrus Thevirus on January 7, 2022 at 4:14 am

well if Games workshop has anything to do with space marine 2 it might end up shitty like all of their stuff

  46. Mitchell Rouse on January 7, 2022 at 4:15 am

Did not disappoint? Unsubscribe I guess

  47. Zeus Himself on January 7, 2022 at 4:15 am

Whats the game in the intro?

  48. ZombiesAte TheVideoStar on January 7, 2022 at 4:18 am

I see they are essentially remaking Dune 2, the first RTS I ever played (1992) 2yrs before warcraft even existed, but looks like they are using the factions from the books rather than just House Atreides, House Harkonnen and House Ordos who exist in the encyclopedic lore and the games but not the books. I always played as Ordos, loved making troops turn on their faction.
