4 NEW AUTEL DRONES! What to Expect?

Autel Store: https://bit.ly/AutelStore

The new Autel Nano and Lite drones have been announced and on paper they look amazing! The sub-250gr. Nano and Nano+ will have 0.8″ and 1″ CMOS sensors respectively, obstacle avoidance, active track and much more. This will definitely be a step up compared to a DJI Mini 2.
As for the Evo Lite and Lite+, they come in to compete against the Mavic Air and Air 2S, giving us variable aperture, 6K video, object tracking and many more new or improved features. With a premium price tag, all of these 4 drones are not going to be for everyone’s pocket, however they’ll be a great breath of fresh air in the not so-competitive drone space (until now).

  1. Guy Hanoi on December 20, 2021 at 11:49 pm

They have no NFZ. That by itself is a great selling point in the competition against DJI. Therefore, the Nano+, seems like a great complimentary drone to my M2P.

  2. Pierre Sakr on December 20, 2021 at 11:50 pm

At First i will get The NANO+ Red / 2nd : Need to know if the App used in NANO+ includes the useful PIV feature ( Picture In Video ) as in the Original App of EVO 2, Thank You Again

  3. NoOneSpecific on December 20, 2021 at 11:53 pm

I have been waiting on this! I don’t care what color the drone is , lol, I’ll take one that’s pink poke a dots just because it’s not a DJI drone! I have an original Evo, I recently crashed it and tore the camera off of it, evos are tough drones, it was a huge fall , but the drone will still fly, just no more camera. The Evo lite sounds like the one I want.

  4. DavId Newman on December 20, 2021 at 11:53 pm

and all 4 of them suck compared to the Mavic 3 that will be out soon. You get what you pay for and More!

  5. Geo Drone on December 20, 2021 at 11:53 pm

Expect same bullshit app Autel Explorer full of bugs… That is what to expect…
Hardware better than Dji, software made by morons.

  6. Adam Sherlock on December 20, 2021 at 11:54 pm

The only real question to me is can I finally have another option besides the mini 2 to shoot Raw with

  7. Lucas Celeste on December 20, 2021 at 11:58 pm

Fantastic opportunity for Autel here. DJI is under attack by the FCC so we will see if they step up to the plate. I hope they do, and so far, it looks like they are.

  8. Guitar Avenues on December 20, 2021 at 11:58 pm

    Good review!
I find the Nano plus extremely interesting and competitive in price, considering the features. It certainly address the weak point of the Mini 2> obstacle sensors, tracking and bigger sensor. I am sure that it will be a best seller and force DJI to react as soon as possible.
I am not so sure about the Lite. The Air 2 S is a sensational drone, very hard to beat. the Light plus has variable aperture and a bit longer battery life, but will everything else be as good as the Air 2S? Very hard task. The Lite is also much more expensive

  9. NoOneSpecific on December 21, 2021 at 12:04 am

I don’t like those prices really, I’m blaming Biden, he’s responsible for all this inflation.

  10. BamTech on December 21, 2021 at 12:05 am

any idea if the nano and light will have waypoint automation features?

  11. DroneStories on December 21, 2021 at 12:08 am

I inch sensor and RYYB ?
    10 BIT ????

  12. Jims Droneing on December 21, 2021 at 12:09 am

nice info mike the nano 1 inch sensor and Lite look to be the most promising like red colour

  13. Gg Will on December 21, 2021 at 12:13 am

Hello, le nano + I wait my drone

  14. Brian Kloeck on December 21, 2021 at 12:14 am

Will the Nano+ have a log color profile ? Because that’s where the Mini 2 is lacking the most for me

  15. Gene Brown on December 21, 2021 at 12:15 am

Wow! When will this drone be available for purchase?

  16. Pierre Sakr on December 21, 2021 at 12:15 am

Well Explained , as usual , Thank You .

  17. Karoly Krausz on December 21, 2021 at 12:16 am

Autel didn´t put sensors that look upwards? If so, what were they thinking? Using variable appreture is seriously awesome but you need sensors in all 4 directions. I rather wait for the Mavic 3 Pro.

  18. Dhoser on December 21, 2021 at 12:16 am

Outstanding specs in each but IMO they priced them about $100 too high to capture a significant share of the market, especially the sub 250g market. The Hubsan ZMP and DJI Mini 2 are priced where the AT Nano and Nano+ should be. DJI will most likely undercut the Nano+ price with their new Mini 3. Lower the price Autel and go for volume selling if you want to get a bigger piece of the pie!

  19. Glenn Alan on December 21, 2021 at 12:16 am

Great video! Very helpful thank you

  20. Sheepthat bleep on December 21, 2021 at 12:17 am

    They Don’t exist

  21. MaximumDrone on December 21, 2021 at 12:18 am

Yeah I’m not a fan of the controller neither haha Also, Mike, have you noticed the mistakes in the text on their web page? There are a lot of spaces missing in it 😛 Look @2:42 under the 249g text 🙂

  22. andre Schwarzkopf on December 21, 2021 at 12:19 am

mavic pro 1 can do vertical 🙂 that why i hold him 🙂

  23. DJ Travel Video on December 21, 2021 at 12:22 am

I’ve been eyeing Air 2s for a while now, but if the Nano+ offers A-Log or HLG, definitely I will buy the Nano+

  24. Peter Mcgarry on December 21, 2021 at 12:22 am

Red nano for me. This Nano looks very interesting indeed. Greetings from Ireland.

  25. Simeon Greenstein on December 21, 2021 at 12:23 am

Once again, great work. I assume the Lite will work with the Smart Controller version2. How about the little one?
The mini size will be nice for travel but, the bigger one is too sweet to pass on.
    Thanks again.

  26. JUST NEEP on December 21, 2021 at 12:23 am

Not compear DJI… Because all over other brand drones technologys and model copys from dji

  27. Jose Miguel on December 21, 2021 at 12:23 am

Nice, thanks Bro for this information. I already have EVO II PRO but NANO+ looks very interesting.

  28. Ken Finlay on December 21, 2021 at 12:26 am

Do the nano series shoot in raw and bracketed like the dji air 2.

  29. VariusStylz on December 21, 2021 at 12:27 am

I would choose the grey, myself…

  30. Drone View GIS on December 21, 2021 at 12:29 am

Great review as always. I’m leaning towards an orange Evo Lite +. It appears to be a better version of the Evo 2 Pro in a smaller air frame. I just hope it shoots in a log profile. No one seems to know at this point.

  31. Quad-Father on December 21, 2021 at 12:30 am

Awesome! Love that DJI is getting some serious competition now that the innovation curve is leveling out. I would buy this one just because it’s not DJI.

Do you know if they would have any geofencing restrictions like the DJI drones have?

Would definitely like to see the Nano if you were going to review one.

  32. steel1911 on December 21, 2021 at 12:32 am

Any idea if the zoom settings/ capabilities in the EVO Lite models ?

  33. kamuelalee on December 21, 2021 at 12:37 am

Great overview, thanks! Wondered how the quality of Autel compares to DJI — the drone company I’m more familiar with. Do Autel drones fly better or not? Is the equipment better, etc., than DJI or not? What is your opinion?

    Thanks again!!

  34. better soc on December 21, 2021 at 12:39 am

never buy autel OBD2, apps downloaded but can not create account in company, not activate, not answer phone, not respond email, tired of autel,

  35. ALTN8NRG on December 21, 2021 at 12:42 am

I hope the image quality is good.

  36. Numinous20111 on December 21, 2021 at 12:44 am

Thank you for this review, especially the pricing. Why are modern websites making this so hard to find?!! Obviously the answer is that you have to view every promotional image and piece of info before you finally locate how much it is going to cost.

  37. Roy Crowe on December 21, 2021 at 12:44 am

I prefer autel over dji simply because I don’t like geo fencing it’s a big turn off

  38. chrisroest on December 21, 2021 at 12:44 am

I expect dji to kill these drones by releasing a new mini version in near future.

  39. H-Dawg on December 21, 2021 at 12:45 am

Will this become ‘legacy drone’ in 2023, where the government decides how you’ve been flying for years without incident is o good enough, and now must only fly in the country miles away from anyone, and all the places you love to fly have now become a problem?

&, uk pilots, what are you guna do in 2023 when your £1000 + equipment becomes basically obsolete?

I abide by all laws currently, and also a lot of it is just common sense, but come 2023 when the new laws take affect, how many of you will start to ignore them.
It sort of feels like you won’t really have a choice. Things are fine now, and have been fine for a while. They’re bringing in more and more laws, where it gets to the point where you have to ignore. Yes? No? What are ppl thinking?

Also, look at Canadian drone laws! They’ve pretty much destroyed the Bobbie, and I’m really worried it will get like this. I love my drone, and I don’t know what to do if it gets like that.
I’m always sensible and stick to the rules. I think I’ll just have to continue the same as, because the more stupid shit they bring in, the harder it is to abide by.

  40. KINGS OF TECH on December 21, 2021 at 12:45 am

My main concern will be heat issues, Husban crammed so much tech into a small package which means u may see heat issues, but hopefully Autel has perfected those issues, i expect DJI will respond either competively or better, but we’ll see, the controller reminds me of an Xbox controller, reserve judgement until it comes out….now on previous models of the evo 1 & 2 obstacle avoidance only fully worked on novice or beginner mode, i see alot of reviewers didn’t realize that & thought something was wrong with the drone, but interesting to see if they keep it the same or make obstacle avoidance fully available in normal mode, can;’t wait to see…

  41. Adrian Glessner on December 21, 2021 at 12:46 am

Interesting to see they don’t have 360 deg obstacle avoidance like "others" do.

  42. Leo F. on December 21, 2021 at 12:47 am

Does it have the new EU CE Classification?
I’m holding to my MA2 until a new drone appear with the mark

  43. Michael Ripple on December 21, 2021 at 12:49 am

Never cared for the evos flight characteristics, but it’s good to have them in the market
