Best New Video Games on KickStarter in February 2021

While video games are often funded by the developer’s themselves, government incentives or via publishing companies, another viable mechanism comes from Crowdfunding where the money is pledged directly from potential players.

Since around the 2012 timeframe, KickStarter has been and remains one the most popular crowdfunding platforms within video game development and we’ve covered many games on the platform over the years. After a brief hiatus in the series, in this video, we’re taking a further look at some of the most exciting and intriguing games currently looking for support and investment on the platform.

I wouldn’t call Pine, a story of loss, delightful but it does look like a compelling title.

Congratulations on 100K! Absolutely deserved them all, and many more, wich I hope will arrive soon enough. Your content is great, and what a nice community you´ve gathered as well.

A long journey to an Uncertain End animation is so good. But Beacon Pines is the one I´ll try to help fund. Love the artstyle and feel of it.

PINE make me think of Pine. Is capitalising the letters seriously enough to get around copyright laws? ’cause if it is Disney spent a lot of money and completely missed that loophole.
