Whats your thoughs on the canon D80
Right Now Canon EOS R5 Exist on papers, it do have amazing features and
have capability of recording 8K. Canon cameras have 2 big features that
are their specialty, 1) Color Science, 2) DPAF. For the last decade, we
grow up seeing Canon and Nikon war like Pepsi and Coke, Canon edges in
SOOC colors while Nikon has Dynamic Range and High ISO handling. Then in
came Sony which straight away changed the dynamics of the market,
targeted the needs of photographers and videographers and rolled out the
product that has been regarded as camera of decade: A7M3. Right now
there’s no camera in market in this price who has features of 1)eye AF
2) High ISO handling 3) Dynamic Range, so on and so for…. Canon
necessitate for having DSLRs in parallel and just released 1Dx M3,
whilst the expected features of Canon R5 expected to surpass, how can it
be cheaper that its DSLR competitor. Expected price to be whooping USD
6,700.00 will be a major turnoff for the success of Canon R5. Sony’s is
sitting back and enjoying the show.

My opinion. Sony was supposed to release their new a7 in October. I suspect they will release now and destroy Canon.

I personally think if they leave out 120 fps in 4k its gonna be an obvious miss on canons part…. maybe they left it off the 1dx mark iii to save it for this?? IDK but one of their cameras needs it or I gotta go somewhere else to find it….. my fingers are crossed, and no lie… this is the most excited ive been about a camera since the 1dx mark ii came out.

I’m a Sony shooter that just got the EOS R and love it and am looking forward the the future canon mirrorles cameras as the eos r feels better in my hands as I have big hands and the only thing I didn’t like was canons layout but that is easy to get used to and the RF glass is better then my gmaster glass

hey! waiting for a new canon for a long time now… but i guess I’m a bit less exited then you about it …. somehow those cameras are more or less the same (ish). A friend of mine is still using cameras from 80s and older and makes fantastic photos … I think its more impressive what mobile phone cameras can do now days and how fast they have been improved …
