Crowdstrike CEO: Microsoft's Software Causes Cyber Security Issues

Crowdstrike CEO George Kurtz tells Emily Chang why he thinks Microsoft’s software is not able to “keep up” with cyber-security trends and leaves their customers vulnerable to attacks. He discusses Crowdstrike’s latest survey on the state of cyber security in 2021 and shares his outlook for 2022.

    What a joke. Obviously attackers are going to look for vulnerabilities in software that is ubiquitous among their targets. If Microsoft went out of business tomorrow and wveyone switched to other platforms, criminals would target those platforms.

    CrowdStrike / SentinelOne / Mandiant / Intezer etc have never been good, they are just shiny checkbox for the CISO to say "hehe look I do my job"
    They can only deter skid actor, not competent criminal threat actors. Least of all nation state actor.
