DJI Motion Controller:

For those looking at a completely new immersive experience with FPV (first person view) flying, DJI has taken the complexity out of the picture with this new drone. I’ve been a Phantom and Mavic flyer since 2013, and this new FPV setup experience has gotten me extremely excited about the industry once again. Packed with safety features to make this DJI FPV Drone, the best transitional drones on the market for those coming from the Phantom, Mavic or Mini lineup. The new immersive experience does not stop at the goggles. DJI also releases the new Motion Controller. This controller allows pilots to fly the FPV drone using a one-handed joystick.

Shout out to Anthony Cuevas (instagram @sd_ae86) and Don Bambico (Instagram @dbambico) for assisting with their FPV expertise, experience and tips.

anyone have any experience with these goggle while wearing glasses?

  2. per hede on March 26, 2021 at 9:04 pm

I was planning on buying a Mavic Air 2, which has a feature where it automatically can follow me and film when I for example ski/mountainbike. Does this drone have this feature as well?

  3. PanO-Rific on March 26, 2021 at 9:06 pm

An amazing and comprehensive run down. DJI is staying on top of improvements and safety features. Very thoughtfully staying ahead of the competition. I am ready for the pilot’s eye view in the drone for my photography. I hope the Props don’t spoil my panoramas. ~ your neighbor

  4. Dirty B Glass on March 26, 2021 at 9:09 pm

biggest problem with this drone is is you fly in acro mode you will crash , if you crash the dji drone it will break and you cant fix it your self…..

  5. RC Bear on March 26, 2021 at 9:09 pm

The Drone is junk waste of money if you try to do Freestyle by a freestyle drone on a DJI drone very dumb

  6. rick mcbean on March 26, 2021 at 9:09 pm

    dji customer service is trash

  7. MinutemanRadioNetwork on March 26, 2021 at 9:10 pm

Does the battery fall out of the drone in flight like the DJI Spark did?

  8. Jay Odon on March 26, 2021 at 9:11 pm

Another great video. The only problem with watching your reviews is that I wish I had all of them!

  9. GTO L on March 26, 2021 at 9:11 pm

I don’t care about cinematic and go fly thru tight spaces that’s dumb in my opinion I just wanna get into fpv and have fun

    Another affiliate review on YouTube…

  11. patronsnkrs on March 26, 2021 at 9:19 pm

    What is the distance range?

  12. jhonatan acosta on March 26, 2021 at 9:20 pm

    Too expensive

  13. Sideburn on March 26, 2021 at 9:21 pm

The GepRC thinking p16 w/ caddx vista is a good cinewhoop to practice acro with.

  14. poszeudes on March 26, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Can’t afford the DJI FPV, when will the knock off coming out.

  15. Fernando Cornelis on March 26, 2021 at 9:25 pm

Where can you fly this is Los Angeles, California? I’m already struggling when I fly my M2P as I hate to be the center of attention, I prefer privacy when flying. Now imagine the way someone looks when wearing goggles, people don’t understand that. —I’m fighting myself not to press that buy button now.

  16. Nick on March 26, 2021 at 9:27 pm

Dude how could you NOT show the clip of you crashing the DJI Drone?? Didn’t wanna be first online lol

  17. Sideburn on March 26, 2021 at 9:27 pm

Care refresh is a rip. Square trade way better deal.

  18. Michael Valadez on March 26, 2021 at 9:27 pm

First, your presentation was excellent. What are the affordable FPV drones to break in slow from a monetary perspective? So if a crash and burn minimize my investment. Learning and understanding this technology is important. In your presentation, there is a number of FPV drones you can train with. Can you provide a list of drones. Thank you and have a great day.

  19. Mr Franz on March 26, 2021 at 9:28 pm

  21. davood ghandaly on March 26, 2021 at 9:29 pm

It’s too expensive for transportation as in Acro mode the whole world changes. And crash is inevitable. And that panic button is useless. Crashes in acro happen in a fraction of a second

  22. Harry Jamm on March 26, 2021 at 9:30 pm

I’d love to try one of these, but I have a feeling having only one eye would make using the goggles kinda useless to me….. Same as 3D glasses…..just give me a headache 🙂 Great review though

  23. Diego R. on March 26, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Cool channel! I’m a first time buyer but I’m not sure if I should buy the mini 2, magic air 2 or fpv! I’m looking around still undecided…

  24. garbagecan fpv on March 26, 2021 at 9:32 pm

one small -med crash and this thing is toast …good luck with out prior FPV training

  25. D. Biv on March 26, 2021 at 9:32 pm

    Great review, thanks

  26. PlainView Aerials on March 26, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Are there eye focus adjustments for guys who wear glasses? Short sighted? Thanks

  27. Mike Latimer on March 26, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Great video, lots of good info. Thank you….as I start unboxing my drone.

  30. Ross Taylor on March 26, 2021 at 9:38 pm

Al you are the best awesome work buddy

  31. Cody Evans on March 26, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Care Refresh is great – I totaled my first Mavic Mini on the first battery, and they sent a replacement. Still got the second one, though! #yeet

  32. Christian Kepler on March 26, 2021 at 9:41 pm

It has "NO GPS" no ability to automatically follow you if you are actively do a sport and/or something else that "requires" not being tied down to wearing the FVP goggles.
Like running, biking, hiking, boating, etc. etc.
If it had gps and the ability to also automatically follow you then yes…
For now NO NO NO $1300 not even worth $500~~~!!!

  33. Justin Case on March 26, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Another DJI product that will get even more morons into the sky and provoke the FAA to keep torturing the true hobbyists.

  34. Reggie Showers on March 26, 2021 at 9:44 pm

Aldryn can you pair the original DJI goggles or a cell phone with this new fpv drone so that others can get the same fpv experience? Thanks!

  35. Naz on March 26, 2021 at 9:45 pm

If you wanted to use your smartphone instead of the headset, are you able to view the camera footage with your camera instead of the headset? Thank you!

  36. craig wolstenholme on March 26, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Hi , on the older dji goggles they had head tracking and I’m wondering do these goggles have it ??

  40. Dermot Corbin on March 26, 2021 at 9:52 pm

Soon to be another item made illegal by the controll freaks.

  41. Jonas Sidrys on March 26, 2021 at 9:53 pm

Do the goggles need to be attached to the external battery (via the cable) at all times during flight?

  42. CJ Jacobs on March 26, 2021 at 9:57 pm

I discovered that the virtual reality simulator and I don’t mix. Within 5 minutes of starting it I was bent over my toilet vomiting. Otherwise I’m loving it. Actual flying in normal and sport modes is fun with the goggles.

  43. Jonas Sidrys on March 26, 2021 at 9:59 pm

FPV Flight Simulator is currently available only on Apple Smartphones, not Android.
