    In the video they say the 1989 camera is the first megapixel camera,

    Here they say the Kodac is the first digital DSLR, and its from 1991.
    But Nikon released a digital DSLR in 1988, QV-1000 was its name, or something like that.

    I do not have a smart phone and even if I did, I would still buy a real camera. A smart phone does not have a self timer nor can you mount a cell phone to a tripod. I am not sorry I bought a camera in 2019 because I think my photos are superior to those taken by a cell phone.
