I would buy it again but it’s not very useful for work. If I use it at work it’s to check email and read documents. The keyboard is decently spaced and easy to type on. That’s it for work. Duet is not setup for using spreadsheets and I compared it to my Acer 715 that is a workhorse. The Duet does not have a 10key pad, does not have a dedicated delete key which are two minimum must-have’s for spreadsheets. Another shortcoming is the Duet keyboard has to be on a flat surface. So, for my needs, Duet is not meant to be an all purpose notebook. What I really enjoy about Duet is it’s amazing battery life, quick processor, and bright screen.

Good video. Personally I love this tablet, I needed something super cheap to read and play casual games on, I never liked amazon and there walled garden of tablets so this fit the bill. I actually love this tablet, it’s battery is very very good. It almost never stutters despite it’s low ram, and the screen is comfortable for hours of reading. I think that this is all for 130$ can’t be stated enough. Thanks again!

It looks really good, does anyone know if there is a keyboard attachment that fits nicely?

1280×800 screen? I’m gonna pass on this. I’m on the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) still for my basic needs.

Was waiting for this review. B&N didn’t have a display modelS Yeah, 720 for reading is concerning.

Where do you get the 720? it says 1280 x 800 Pixels. I hate amazon tablets. Super sluggish even the new tablet. i may get the nook out of curiosity even tho I already have samsung and ipad tablets

Currently have a nook samsung tablet 7. 5yrs old and no longer getting updates and slow. Hope they do a 8" version. Just use as a reader and web searching. Don’t care about cameras. If fire tabs had play store, might consider them.

The plus side to the nook tablet is that you can put any reading and reading related app you want like Kindle, Google book(s), audible. They don’t limit you like Amazon Kindle does. I would love to say I have a Kindle with the nook app on it but they won’t allow that to happen. I’m not against Kindles. I want the freedom to look at the same book or magzine on different reading apps on the same device and find where it’s the cheapest thats not going to happen with Kindle ever. If you want to try the nook app out before dropping $130 on a tablet download it on your phone. That’s what I’ve done because I can’t just waste money on a tablet from lenovo and yes I’m against lenovo. The nook app I’ve found to be easier to navigate than the Kindle app. Plus the more you spend on barns and noble sold books the more your helping a 135 year old company stay open. Idk about you but I don’t want Amazon to have all the power to control what I can and can’t buy.

Framerate on the camera is certainly decent compared to the Fire. You’re not going to be taking professional quality pics or videos, but if you ever need to film some worldstar shit happening at the Barnes and Noble, you can certainly do worse.
