For the past several weeks mysterious drones have been flying at night, in patterns, over parts of rural Colorado and Nebraska. Law enforcement and the FAA are investigating, but so far no one knows who is operating them or why. Dana Jacobson reports.

You fly a drone over my property..I’m shooting it down..I consider it trespassing and an invasion of privacy as a home it’s legal to trespass? No thanks try that in the Tn mountains.

  2. Frankie9_9 on February 17, 2020 at 2:04 am

    Could it be Iran?

CBS needs to do better research. A report came out 2 days ago from AF Central Command saying that they are USAF drones. They are doing training on a new program. It is no different from when the Navy or Air Force come out with a new fleet of aircraft and do training.

How can you see what your looking at 500 ft in the air in the dark. Just curious

  5. Draskinn on February 17, 2020 at 2:08 am

If nobody can figure out who they belong to then they’re probably ether black op government drones or cartel drones. Ether way last thing you want to do is shoot one down! Imagine you shoot one down an find a bag with $100,000 dollars of Fentanyl in it! Good luck.

No mystery to anyone who understands the crop circle message. Those are warning lights, just like the sheriffs cruiser in your rear view mirror. Except, these fines come in the form of asteroids directed at your silly silos. This is the problem with the gubermint lying all the time: "Crop circles? Those are made by man!" And, for the most part everybody believes it until one day I come along and shout "You Fools!"

The crop circles explain how to contain the meltdowns or, they will. If they have to, everything goes bye-bye and then everybody figures out why the swamp hates Trump. They don’t hate Trump, they lost the keys to the Deep Underground Military Bunkers and are as naked to the incoming alien directed asteroids as the common fool. You see? They weaponized the alien warnings and prepared by digging the DUMB ovens thinking you’d get squashed and they’d survive and nobody would come after them for all their criminality and they could finally sleep at night. Don’t you hate being a dumb sheet fool?

Okay so this story hits the Headlines within the same week the FAA publishes it’s proposal for new rules for drones. Then gives only 2 months for comments on the proposal before making it’s final recommendation. Does anyone really believe that Mystery Drone story is a coincidence? The new proposed rules are extremely restrictive to Model airplane and Drone hobby industry to the point they will most likely cease to exist. There are only two possible candidates for who is responsible for these mystery drones. And both are the ones most likely to benefit from the new proposed rules. The FAA or Big Corporate commercial drone operators (Amazon, FedEx etc.) Someone is being dishonest. I this is the best way for the FAA to makes its case for instituting these new proposals. If you are a model aviation hobbyist or hobby Drone flyer, you best comment on these new proposals, or start selling your equipment.

Basically I just see a light in the sky. There is absolutely nothing in this video that makes me think this is a drone. It’s probably just one of those chinese lanterns you buy at the firework store.

  14. M1990chillmode on February 17, 2020 at 2:15 am

I seen what looked like a piece of white pvc pipe with no wings flying in the sky a few months ago. It was not a drone nor a plane.

  15. James Hart on February 17, 2020 at 2:16 am

Actually several have been shot down, but they seem to have a self destruct system. So they explode when hit. I live in Cheyenne Wyoming.

This has been going on for years just that people are finally noticing them. It the government. They are in the sky in every state at night. If you look up in the sky you will see them some flash red white and blue. I have flash them with my camera phone and slowly it comes toward. They come down really low at a certain time at night and then disappear before sun up. If people would watch the sky More they would see a lot more things going on. One is the jets chemical trails all over the sky when a major storm system is coming. I think they are trying to control weather on that one.

1-9-20: Spotted 12-15 flying last night. It’s all over local/national news; no…it’s not planes either. not 12-15 of them in a cluster. Not one soul has come forward to explain these. Not gov’t.; Not state; not city; not military. All deny the drones are theirs. (And no! I seriously doubt it’s Iranians. They aren’t THAT smart!)

  34. Stephen T on February 17, 2020 at 2:44 am

These drones have been around towns in Vermont for the last several months but running grid patterns during the day!!

  35. Blade Johnson on February 17, 2020 at 2:44 am

The video footage is about the same as you’d see years ago when someone reported a UFO …. this crap has been going on since the USAF opened project Bluebook. Now UFO’s are drones …. or swamp gas …. or Venus …. saying drones is just another excuse for something that can’t be explained.

  36. Maryj on February 17, 2020 at 2:44 am

Where I’m from if “no one knows”, we’d be saying, “Pull!” Then the perps would step forward…why they haven’t after weeks of these shenanigans…is another mystery but the men in black would come out of the wood work.

  39. D on February 17, 2020 at 2:48 am

Most of the "sightings" are regular fixed wing aircraft. Several have been reported by multiple people and counted as "multiple aircraft" yet triangulation from observation points indicates that they are the same drone.
Also, completely legal activity, so what’s the big deal.

Wouldn’t 12 drones make a lot of noise that the observer would hear? I heard them say they are silent. It’s something else for sure.

I truly wonder if this is coinciding with the increased amount of flu cases in certain States. Could this be some sort of delivery system??
