Good guide as gifts. But what if you’re buying for yourself?

I couldn’t see myself buying another camera body or into a system, without 4K. This is why I’ll more than likely go with Sony. As much as I don’t want to admit their system is better for the modern workloads of a video producer.

    Why not DSLRs?

  17. Hitesh Sookun on March 11, 2020 at 11:39 am

Hi if anyone got a spare 50 mm canon lens.. Do let me know.. Will buy..second hand is ok too.. Urgent

  18. Leo Guo on March 11, 2020 at 11:41 am

Terrible guide. No one should be buying into the eos-m system if they don’t already own a truck full of ef lenses.

  19. Brian on March 11, 2020 at 11:42 am

    Try Sony rx mark7

  20. Leo Guo on March 11, 2020 at 11:44 am

You also should never recommend buying kit lenses. They are crappy lenses that will just kill your inspirational ideas. Try to recommend some cheap 50mm options in every mount for start.

  24. Aniv Khawaunju on March 11, 2020 at 11:54 am

Can never go wrong with sony a6000.

  25. Leo Guo on March 11, 2020 at 11:55 am

For low end, you are better off buying some premium fixed lens cameras than any of the crap below $500, especially DSLRs. Any DSLR sold for $500 or below is utter trash and should not be recommended.

Pro line, Nikon D850 is an awesome camera, and has a huge lens selection.
Surprised Fuji wasn’t mentioned, they have some amazing bodies out across the range.
