Dell XPS is regressive. I remember early LBM Thinkpads. They don’t have any spaces between their keyboard keys.

at 1:10 in this video, where can I find the video that is being referenced to business laptops that are acting as gaming laptops as well? I am looking for a laptop to do both with a budget in mind. More business and less gaming though.

I can’t wait for the new MacBook Air and baseline MacBook Pros to come out. The current ones already blow these laptops out of the water.

Great and informative piece, I did have a question about the messenger bag featured in the video, not to diminish the tech shown, but you have to keep your tech safe!

  17. Darren Bakewell on January 13, 2022 at 5:03 am

How do you talk about best when you have not done full test against the specs? And no ones cars about a 1080p cam.

  18. Casey Ryan Mather on January 13, 2022 at 5:04 am

For the 2 in 1 laptops there needs to be a camera on the keyboard, so that in tablet mode, one can take a picture.

You like Dell XPS because you never disassembled one or never owned one.
Dell utilizes the same business model as the car manufacturers.
Inspiron in different cover = XPS = Cheap trash premium price

I think the best unique is dell xps plus

  29. Undertaker on January 13, 2022 at 5:26 am

How much did HP paid you to call the new XPS the best? Its a downgrade of everything

  30. Why Are We Awesome on January 13, 2022 at 5:27 am

cnet hires people who like the look of laptops rather than performance, you dont even give us specs so we can compare. CNET, the channel the gives you information that doesnt.

  31. DoubleAIV on January 13, 2022 at 5:29 am

Please do *NOT* give Dell praise for the design choices theyve made with the XPS 13+. That garbage needs to flop so we don’t see it ever again. Also we need to get Dell to make the Alienware laptops with 3:2 screens.

  32. Eric Gonzalez on January 13, 2022 at 5:29 am

Can’t wait to buy my first MacBook Pro this year.

  33. Ios on January 13, 2022 at 5:31 am

CNET really you praising dell for making their XPS worse??Corporate whores no wonder nobody watches you like before

    Ok boomer

  37. Cer on January 13, 2022 at 5:33 am

So you’re gonna give a spot to the Dell XPS 13 plus that is literally a downgrade design wise from last year, and you’re not gonna feature the zephyrus g14 that got the biggest upgrade in 2022 out of every laptop in CES of this year, much better performance, 16:10 ratio display, the addition of a webcam which was heavily requested, finally fixing the hot air hitting the bottom of the panel, RGB keyboard backlight and improved animematrix resolution and brightness, it’s by and large the most impressive upgrade this year

  38. Saurabh Srivastava on January 13, 2022 at 5:34 am

Why would u not keep asus zephyrus g14 g15 and strix scar g15 in the list i wonder?

  39. Edmund Cheung on January 13, 2022 at 5:35 am

Can’t wait for real reviews of the Asus ROG Flow Z13 to see what it’s capable of.

  40. Kenn Lee on January 13, 2022 at 5:36 am

Does a laptop OLED display have the same problem with burn-in as the TV OLED displays? I would think that the icons on the screen would eventually burn into the display, as they’re always in the same position.

  41. Sterling Archer on January 13, 2022 at 5:37 am

Wouldn’t touch a free xps plus. Thing looks like straight garbage on the usability scale.

  42. Abraham F on January 13, 2022 at 5:38 am

I love Chromebooks, but people should be aware that sometimes the document being edited doesn’t sync with the cloud, even with a strong internet connection. When this occurs, you can’t share or download (as PDF) that document until it syncs with the cloud (which can sometimes take 1-2 hours). This can be quite frustrating if a submission deadline approaches.

I think Hp Spectre 360 2021 still One of the best on the market!
