The list doesn’t make much sense. There isn’t the market share anymore for consoles to become attractive. A lot of companies including Google has tried entering the gaming market and its just proven to be a disaster for them. Consoles don’t even sell at a profit a lot of the time anyway, it’s the games and services. If other companies are going to get into the gaming market, they’re going to try to same strategy as Google with avoiding the hardware. As for handheld, remember that Sony has even given up on making handheld and Nintendo merged their stationary console and handheld console into one. I just don’t see a new console by a new company as a possibility.
I would like to see SEGA make a come back though.

I was hopping that sega would make a comeback but I am sticking with Sony and they might come out with an emulator attachment for their advanced systems that can play all old Sony games from PS1 and onward I can see Musk making a gaming system then using that data to make the first holodeck arcade area and letting people make their own VR worlds and live in them and maybe coming out with a transfer system to put your brain signals into a younger or different body that isn’t robotic should be interesting
