RYZEN 7 1700 X 169.99 with a gigabyte b450 Auros pro wifi motherboard 119.99 upHere CPU cooler 120mm fan 21.99 Decent? My other question is can you use 2100 MHz ram with an I5 9400F with an Asus Tuf z390 plus gaming [Wifi] Intel 300 series board without adverse effects? 275.00 combo deal on Newegg. My Asrock b350 is dead, but the ram and Ryzen 5 processor are fine. Fatality is right.

Ryzen 1700 or 2600 for gaming?

  3. Evan Nickerson on February 10, 2020 at 10:53 pm

Your opinion on best performance shouldn’t matter, it’s so unbelievably self explanatory

  4. Hardware Unboxed on February 10, 2020 at 10:53 pm

Insane deal this, AMD Ryzen 7 1700: https://amzn.to/2HKRkvN

    Please help.

    I have lga 1151 motherboard.
Should i biy i5 9400f and additional 8 gb ram
Or should i buy ryzen 5 2600x and new motherboard?

  8. Dominic Zigan-Voyles on February 10, 2020 at 10:58 pm

How about the i7 9700K. Performs notably faster and better than the 8700k.

  9. Damir Sadikovic on February 10, 2020 at 10:59 pm

Good list. I can honestly say my 8700K at 4.8GHz on on all core’s is just destroying games… Compared to my friends 1800X and he has the same GPU as me RTX 2070 its just no contest.

  11. smoked buns on February 10, 2020 at 11:01 pm

Ok guys, just stop already, its simple, Intel is expensive, AMD is reasonable.
If you have the money, and can afford Intel, well good for you, so stop "laughing" at people who cant afford it, if you can’t afford it too, I’m pretty sure, you would also support AMD.
AMD, yeah we get it, it’s reasonable, but have to face it that Intel just really delivers it much more than AMD, also in asking price which makes them, UNREASONABLE, if intel and amd were at the same price, toe to toe with everything, that would be a different story.
So everyone, please just accept the facts and be respectful.
Whether you want to admit it or not, money will always be a deciding factor in this comparison, deal with it.

  12. Silver King on February 10, 2020 at 11:04 pm

Don’t you think i7 9700K is the better option here? I think its also cheaper than 8700K on amazon.ca right now…

  13. Zéphyr on February 10, 2020 at 11:04 pm

    what is better between a i7-9700 8x 3,00 GHz with a gtx 1060 6Go or a AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 8X 3,70 GHz with a rtx 2060 6Go ?

When will the new double and Quad CPU Motherboards be released?

Imagine having 4 x I7-8700K’s on one MOBO and all 4 CPU’s in Parallel processing mode?

  17. Dotaro The Great on February 10, 2020 at 11:12 pm

its now 6months…. make a new vid about this and with the new ryzen 3rd gen

  18. solomoncurry on February 10, 2020 at 11:13 pm

actually for cpu, the best one has to be i7-9700k. very good value for money over 8700k

  19. CRACKLES MCFARLEY on February 10, 2020 at 11:14 pm

WHAT ABOUT THE RYZEN 5 2990X OR THE INTEL I9-9090XC?

I read somewhere INTEL has a big announcement for July-August 2019 to release a PC consumer market a 12 GHz CPU with 24 Cores..
    Any truth to this rumor?

  20. Charles Ethier on February 10, 2020 at 11:15 pm

Is the i5 9600k great for working?

  21. Ethan Le on February 10, 2020 at 11:16 pm

This guy seems pretty biased for AMD

  22. Twinkle khan on February 10, 2020 at 11:16 pm

8600k 5ghz is same 8700k even it can handle rtx 2080ti same fps..u forgot to mention

  23. Ayyorta on February 10, 2020 at 11:16 pm

May i reccomend the $150 i5-9400F. No integrated graphics but a beast for its price! 6 Cores and very good turbo speeds

  26. Chris Smout on February 10, 2020 at 11:21 pm

Thanks for the recommendations, really wasn’t sure about the comparative price/performance of budget to mid-tier CPUs and that 9400F is a steal!

  27. LuciusEsox1 on February 10, 2020 at 11:21 pm

I get more hassle with AMD stuff than I do Intel …

    9400F > 2600X. Why 8700K? 9700K is faster. The price is identical.

  30. RG on February 10, 2020 at 11:23 pm

    Core i5 9600k

  31. charfi omar on February 10, 2020 at 11:23 pm

how is the 2200g best budget cpu when you need ddr4 3000mhz ram to be able to make it work properly ? with today’s ram pricing, getting an intel would be a much cheaper alternative

  32. NoicePlums on February 10, 2020 at 11:23 pm

    My pick:

Wait until the Ryzen 3000 series drops.

  33. BaBeLoo BaDoo on February 10, 2020 at 11:25 pm

Hardware unboxed. Bash Intel, praise AMD. Mention as many times as you can AMD. Avoid mentioning Intel as much as you can. Forget mentioning Intel’s i7 9700K because it is a much better gaming CPU than any of the Ryzens and even better than the i7 8700K.
It is totally unclear who is the AMD fanboy and stakeholder here… uhhg. Wonder how much AMD paid for this "top 5 list".

  34. Marcin Terlecki on February 10, 2020 at 11:27 pm

Do you still get random blue screens with AMD ?

Picked up my 1700x for $150 awhile back and just love it. Waiting for benches and reviews on Zen 2 before I decide to upgrade or not…

  38. angel perez on February 10, 2020 at 11:34 pm

you guys should make a new updated version of this. With the new ryzen gen 3’s, do they beat out any of these, i’d like to hear from you guys. Due to the current price drops

  39. Karel Reinaldo on February 10, 2020 at 11:34 pm

    in my country i5 9400f cost 178 usd, while r5 2600 cost 189 usd

  40. Branden's Outdoor Channel on February 10, 2020 at 11:39 pm

My 9900k is still the best. $479 on Amazon. Better than 8700k.

In Poland 1st gen Ryzen 7 1700 costs around 600PLN (~155USD): https://www.ceneo.pl/50304512, Ryzen 3 1200 costs ~270PLN (70USD) and Ryzen 5 2600 is at 660PLN (170USD). Great prices in Poland, SSDs and RAM still getting cheaper (SSD 120GB is for as little as ~17USD, 4GB DDR4 is also around 17-20USD). RX 570 is same price as GTX 1050Ti so nVidia is blown at that pricepoint. Now everything that I have to do is to sell my A10 9700 and buy some Ryzen stuff.

Any news of the Microsoft next O.S. being released as standard ready to install ZIPPED on every M.2 produced in 2020 and beyond? No more downloading OS or even using/needing USB drive because the OS will be in a directory ready to install on every M.2 SSD made near 2020? This is getting exciting folks!!!

Ryzen 5 2400G is pretty alright but if you don’t need onboard graphics a Ryzen 5 1600 at about the same price will eat it for lunch
