What is a Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7 as Fast As Possible

What the heck is the difference between a Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7?? What do these terms mean?

what gets me about you cuties the talk so fast I don’t know if it’s because you think you’re smarter than everyone else being on 70 years old and slow I find it very difficult to follow a person like you why bother trying to explain something to the average Joe if you’re going to compound it confounded to wear all your knowledge is going in one ear of mine and out the other granted you’re probably pretty smart but you ought to tone it down so a dummy like me can understand and get something from these self-learning tutorials

This video is old but still relevant. So many people need to watch this. There are folks who still think i7 = the latest processor while i3 = an older processor.

The GOVERNMENT is holding their thumb on the scale against FASTER computer processors. Years ago, there was a 286, then 386, then 486 Pentium and so on. Every 2 years there was a big leap in speed. That all stopped about 10-15 years ago. My Core i7 is more than 10 years old.
30 years ago I worked for a company that made DIAMOND… DIAMOND substrates… Thin film. IC are made of silicon, it’s ‘limiting’ factor is heat. Diamond tolerates heat much better. THIRTH YEARS AGO… Has anyone seen a DIAMOND PROCESSOR? NOPE, and you wont. The GOVERNMENT HAS THEM. Encryption, passwords, hardware, firmware locks… They’re all a joke. The FBI PRETENDS they can not break the iPhone… Thats what they would like you to believe.
Computers are STUCK in a rut, and they will remain there.

Can’t we have Linus do a whole show on Helium ?

  36. Raymond Greenwood on February 17, 2020 at 2:52 am

So basically go with i5 save some money since its middle of the road. That way your not getting ripped off unless you are a gammer.

I am not, I kind of retired but I do understand all that crap but for general PC guy I tell them just get i5 and since you are only reading emails and Excel files list go a little future proof on that ram and you will be good.

If your kid does gaming I suggest you get them another machine and put trust fund together on that electric bill because that machines will drain some energy
